Thoughts for 2014

“Tomorrow, is the first blank page of a 365 page book. Write a good one.”

I read this quote from Brad Paisley and it got me thinking.  Like much of life, the promise of a new year can seem overwhelming with choices and possibilities.  But if you break it down like those pages, it's just a day at a time.  So do one good deed a day.  Just one at a time.  Check in on an elderly freind or neighbor.  Run an errand for someone.  Help another person.  Give.  It's so simple and so rewarding.  You'll enjoy writing your book.

Great point. The biggest thing is to break any large goal down to manageable pieces and work toward it with daily activity.

Thanks John, absolutely true. This year I'm trying to add something that benefits others in my daily "to do" list which I create that the night before.  I know there will be changes during the day but I have an overview at the start of the day.  Today I'm visiting an elderly friend who retired some time ago.
