Mansfield, Missouri, Burritos to Die For at Estrada's

Estrada's Mexican Cuisine is a family enterprise gracing the Town Square in Mansfield, Missouri.  We are so fortunate to have, in the midwest, an opportunity to have an eating choice that is both delicious and generous.

Karen and Dwight Estrada and their three boys offer great customer service in their quaint spot along with the very good food.

                                                                                                                                Estrada's

My extreme favorite is the Huge Chicken/Rice Burrito WET with the most scrumptious green chili.  After that, the Shredded beef and Bean Burrito WET with that same lime-y green chili is the next choice.  Although, the enchiladas would never be turned down.  We stopped last week and planned for each of us to have one of the choices, eat a reasonable amount, like half, of the generous portions and take the rest home for supper. The Web Burritos were SO good that we lost control and just ate them up!  Although, we confess to trading midway.  So, we had to order another chicken burrito to go so we would have yummy leftovers at home.

                                                         Estrada's Caliente Corner

If you live in Branson and drive that loop that brings you east-ish on hwy 76 to Hwy 5, you go right past Mansfield on your way to Hwy 60 and Springfield for the loop back to Branson. Yahoo won't lay out a trip like that for you, but it is pretty clear on the road map.  And, it is MEAL TIME about when you get to Mansfield.  I heartily recommend a stop at Estrada's before you go on to Hwy 60!

Estrada's Adobe Walls       Visitors in Branson can make a day trip of this loop, see the beautiful Ozarks and be extremely well fed and enjoy super customer service as well.

my friend has a bussiness here in missouri it is a small art studio, he allows people to leave there art work in his store and if someone comes in and buys a drawing they sometimes pay him a small fee but it is not required he is just trying to help people out.

Well to make a long story short, he had been thinking about expanding and making a little coffee shop in his store. Well I have been making burritos for sometime now and selling them to a small company here in town during the lunch hour. I only sale about 20. Well one day i decided to walk through our small town and see if any other bussiness owners would like to buy a burrito during the lunch time and I happened to walk into his store. He said he would love to have me help him make and sale burritos out of his art studio. He already has a bussiness licence. My question is do we have to do anything special with the health department to do this type of thing. He has pleanty of room to set up a place. All I use is a crockpot to cook the beef or pork and a blender to make the sauce. The food can stay in the crockpot and then i planned on bring in a comal to heat the tortillas, wrap the burrito in foil along with a container so they  can take some hot sauce with them. I can add cheese or sour cream if they wish. I will have a refridgertor in the store and the other items i mentioned. This is nothing fancy just like a "burrito shack" type thing were people in town can just walk in and order a burrito to go.

How hard is this going to be to do? Does he have to get another special licence to do this, do we have other requirments like the type of table we will prepare the food on. I heard lots of differnt rumors I have checked the missour health web site but i can not find an ansewr to my questions. Can you help or make some suggestions......sorry i am in a hurry and i am not going to spell check this for errors i hope you can make sence of what i am asking you. Please tell me what i might need to do.

your friend

Your county would have a health department office that could give you the most accurate direction.  I would call the county court house and ask for the specific contact information.

My first comment was a few years ago. I just realized I posted a comment about the estradas restaurant and I was 17 then now I am 23. I still yet had the chance to try the food. Here in my home town Ardmore Oklahoma is a growing town right between Oklahoma City and Dallas Texas. Honestly the CEO or anyone in charge of the business "Estradas" I do ask if there was a possibility you guys could look into building one here in Ardmore Oklahoma . There are so many big things coming into this town and another restaurant besides "taco bell" or "el Chico" would be a great!! There are so many places to build on too!!! Please if it's not to much to ask. Look into it? And I would love to be your first costumer !! :) and a "regular " a some call it :) well I do hope to hear from you again soon!:) thank you.
