We are lucky to have beautiful weather in La Quinta in the winter, but we are also treated to some lovely sunsets! I captured this photo last night right before the sun set behind the Santa Rosa Mountains!

Gorgeous La Quinta, California sunset! Unbelievable colors in the sky. Yea! You guys have a winter in which to be grateful. Many of us would willingly trade our snow and frigid icebox for one of your sunsets right now.

Hi Kathy, Very nice photo. Not too many palm trees in northern Indiana. Oh, yeah, that was Florida. We have corn here and trees without leaves on them. That's why it's nice to have Christmas trees. Thy ae the only ones that look alive here until April.

Looks like U borrowed a Florida West Coast Sunset!!! It is all about Texture in the form of cloud formations as the sun sets, isn't it! You had the texture on this day! We often get textured sky on the East too as sun sets...maybe a relection off the Gulf Coast? Do you get 360 degree sunsets? Jim-in-Paradise
