It's that time of year...
Restaurant Week is back in Alexandria for 2014!
The time for your taste buds to come out of hibernation has arrived here in Northern Virginia with Restaurant Week in Alexandria City! Featuring over 50 establishments across the City, there is definitely something for everyone on the list.
The concept is to have either a $35 dinner for two or a 3 course dinner for $35 per person. Each restaurant can do one or the other... or both. This annual event is a great opportunity to try a new place or return to a tried & true favorites. The link below has a search tool so that you can search by area of town, casual or fine dining, if the places is Buzz worthy, or even if it is a Presidential favorite!
Alexandria Restaurant Week 2014
Some of my personal favorites in Old Town are:
- Chart House (I'm a bit biased, I worked at the Coconut Grove, FL location during college)
- Union Street Public House
- O'Connell's (on a cold day head to the back bar for the fireplace)
- Landini Brothers
- Vermillion
- Overwood
- A la Lucia
- Hard Times Cafe
- King Street Blues
- 815 Southside
Over on the west end of town:
- Clyde's at Mark Center
- Shooter McGee's
- Nick's Nightclub (just in case you need a country music, line dancing fix)
Now you don't have a reason not know the perfect place to dine & meet people for any given occasion... Bon `Appetite
