Wow! Big news. Five Guys Burgers is now open in Coon Rapids. Where you say? They took over the space left vacated by Green Mill last year. That is right in front of Target in Riverdale.
I stopped in to try it the other night and the place was packed. Probably due to the lack of a place to grab a burger in Riverdale. The only other 2 spots were McDonalds and Friday's. This place fills the gap between the 2 nicely. The service was fast and friendly, even with the crowd. They cook your burger to order so not as fast as McDonalds but in 5 minutes my burger was ready. Their fries are awesome and the burger was also very good.
Stop in and give it a shot, you won't leave hungry.
