The FIS Freestyle games are in full swing in Deer Valley, and athletes are into the final weeks of competition in an effort to qualify for the Sochi 2014 Winter Olympics, as two branches of freestyles skiing (Visa International moguls and aerials) come together for the FIS Freestyle championship.

It’s now a full-on race to the finish of the qualification period for the Sochi 2014 Winter Olympic Games, and two branches of the World Cup tour are coming together for the FIS Freestyle Competition

The event marks the 15th year in a row of international and elite ski competitions at Deer Valley, including the 2002 Winter Olympic Games. Be there to witness Visa International moguls and aerials at Deer Valley Resort, USA, as the two tours pack several events into the last weeks before the Games.

You can expect to see thousands of thousands of people at the bottom of the White Owl and Champion lifts where you can watch the best skiers in the world while they do twists and turns in the air and on the ground under Deer Valley’s lights. As one of the biggest highlights of the year, this is an event you don’t want to miss. After the event, you can listen to live music, check out the fire works show, and enjoy a spectacular week of skiing—a great way to start out the New Year! Don’t miss some of the world’s best skiers will travel to Utah to compete in the event.

All competitions will be held at night, so be sure to dress warm. Mogul events for men and women are scheduled on the Champion ski run on Thursday, January 9, and Saturday, January 11, respectively. Both men’s and women’s aerial events will be held on the White Owl ski run on Friday, January 10. See the schedule of events below.
