Powderhorn Mountain Resort January Events 2014. January is a busy month at Powderhorn Mountain Resort...well every month during ski season is a busy month. This weekend is the PRC Speed Camp. Here is a list of upcoming events for January, 2014 at Powderhorn Mountain Resort.
January 18th & 19th. Summit Canyon Tele-Fest & Demo Days. Check out some new gear and enjoy live music on the deck. Two different local music guests will entertain on the deck on both days. There are also several different race series planned for this weekend.
On Friday, January 24th...get ready to laugh. It's comedy night at the resort. Every weekend in January also features the Powdercats Race Series. This is a skill improvement program for kids ages 5-8.
Powderhorn Mountain Resort is a get away from it all kind of ski resort. There are no lift lines and everyone is relaxed. The deck is a great place to sit back and enjoy the views and to watch other skiers. It's located on the northwestern side of Grand Mesa. There are over 1600 acres of territory with 63 trails and 3 terrain parks. The vertical drop is 1650 feet. 50% of the trails are rated intermediate, 20% beginner and 30% expert. Five lifts serve the ski area. The views of the valley and cliffs below are fabulous. Lodging and dining are available at the resort and in Mesa, CO. Powderhorn is a scenic 40 minute drive over Grand Mesa from Cedaredge, CO.
