A blustery open house....

The day started out lovely.... The sunrise was gorgeous. It was a bit overcast but I didn't think much of the weather. I showed my clients homes. We walked around the houses. It seemed comfortable. I said goodbye to my clients... I bought the balloons for the open house. I went and ate my lunch. I set out my signs. The balloons were blowing hard.... Funny I don't remember it being windy. By the time I got to my lockbox I was cold. There were small drops of rain on my car. I turned up the heat and turned on the lights. I typed a little.

I looked out the window and a very cold looking person was running up toward the door. It was rainy and blustery. By the time we got tot he upstairs (the house is not that big just 1770 sq ft) there were white flakes coming out of the sky. Now if only I had brought my gloves.... Metal signs are very cold. I hope more people come but it is now a nasty day. The kind of day for hot cocoa and a good book.

Debbie, I attended 2 Open Houses yesterday and it was not the best weather. The great thing is, the agents had really worked the "ambience" factor and the homes were very inviting. Almost didn't want to leave.
