Hello Fred! This is a great place to visit, and not too far away when you come to the Vancouver/Portland metro area; although it is always in the shade in the Winter!
Hi Michael, actually the Falls can be quite tame in October if the Rains have not set in and replenished the streams. Still a nice get-away in any event!
Hi Myrl, the lodge is in the shade most of the day during the winter thus, it was a challenge for the camera to capture the muted colors, on this otherwise bright sunny day!

Mary, if you may a trip by automobile, the Columbia River Gorge, and Multnomah Falls are well worth it!
Tony and Darcy, this is a good one to have on one's bucket list. Sometimes for us living nearby we forget how magical this place can be!
