You're welcome Trisha. We've done tons of foundation and engineered certification work all over Washington and Oregon.
GOOD MORNING JOHN ... now this is a unique blog -- mostly about MHs! There is a lot to learn and know about the topic - we have MH subdivisions in Tucson, and even some "prefab" as they are called on Mt Lemmon - and that in itself takes some interesting foundation work to prepare for erosion and being on hillsides, etc.
Very interested in this topic and thanks for posting. I will check out your other posts as well.
Hi Gabrielle, We have done a tremendous amount of work in both foundation retrofitting and engineered certification over the years. In fact I actually have an inactive Manufactured Home Contractors license for AZ. We slowed down on actual hands on retrofitting because we found a local conractor that could to them for us. However, we do still have some engineered certification and affidavit of affixture business in AZ.
BTW Gabrielle let us know if we can ever be of service to you. I love your name.
Hi John, below is a list of the complete series I've posted to date. I will continue on this subject through the end of January. If you ever have any questions please don't hesitate to reach out. You can always call me on my cell at 760 815-6977.

Hi John! I’ve enjoyed reading your posts about manufactured home. I don’t have enough info about this type of home so thanks because I’ve got additional knowledge from you today. Thanks~
You're welcome Eric. I'll make you an associate. Maybe that will help keep you in the loop.
I have a mobile home in san diego county. I own the lot and pay property taxes on the lot ($1200/yr) but with the MH I believe I’m saving a lot keeping it registered with DMV as a mobile home. I want to implement engineered seismic bracing to complement my seismic jacks but don’t want to get saddled with more property tax, due to having to submit a 433 form.
John,
Great educational information on manufactured home foundations. We have quite a few in our area so learning what is needed is essential.
