Empty Flyer Boxes

I am curious to know what my fellow agents think and feel about one of my personal pet peeves... Empty flyer boxes.

I pay attention to what other agents are doing in my area, and one thing I have noticed in both of the markets which I have been licensed and selling real estate (Missoula, Montana and Spokane, Washington) is that agents seem to forget (or disregard) the fact that they attach flyer boxes to their yardsigns and once the initial batch of flyers is gone, they never refill the boxes...

Am I blowing this out of proportion, or is this neglegent on the part of the agent? I think it is neglegence for sure! There is a house across the cul-de-sac from ours that has been for sale for since September. It is listed for upwards of $300,000 (not sure if that is important or not) and has not had any flyers in the box since early October. I have watched numerous (more than 10 by now) cars drive up and look at the house and not be able to take a flyer.

Please take a moment to comment on how important you think keeping flyers in the box is, thanks!!

Well October is too long. However if the the boxes are clear and you can see there is no flyer, then nobody is inconveienced. It's when you have to open the box and then there is nothing there, that's frustrating.

You're welcome. I forgot to hit spell check. Oh well I wish AR had red underlying when you misspell.
