James, only 10-12% of people are lefties! I am in that minority for many tasks but not all! Enjoy your day!
I'm surprised at the low number of lefties, I would have thought it was higher.
Good morning, James....why would anyone draw a cup of coffee from the view of looking down...in drafting, that's an orthographical view...it's how architectural drawings are done... looking down from above the home...as if someone cut the roof off the home and you are looking at each floor from above...in the kitchen, the cabinets would be shown as dotted lines because they have a counter under them....I wouldn't expect anyone to draw anything this way....
Good morning James. The coffee cup thing surprised me....I guess I'm just not a canonical type. Enjoy the day.
Good morning James, i would have guessed a higher number of Lefties. Thanks for sharing.
James good post as always. Surprised at the lefty stats. My wife is a left for all things but a golf swing (righty). Strange. I am ambidextrous but mainly a righty. Not surprised at the perspective issue. Some do look outside the box but we are a product of our history, education and training.
Hi James,
Maybe a draft of coffee from those new fangled coffee makers where they only dispense a full cup is in order. This way, who cares how the coffee is looked at.
Have a good day in Rogers my friend.
Best, Clint McKie
Good morning James,
Now I am going to try the coffee cup with both hands.
Make yourself a great day.
Almost the entire world for me is at eye level because I am only 5 feet tall, so I would draw a coffee cup flat, without dimension.
I would have guessed there would be more lefties. Maybe that just because i know a bunch
I have wondered at times how many people were 'lefties.' Through the years I am grateful I am not left handed as to me it has always looked so uncomfortable when I see lefties hand and finger positions when writing. So 10% - 12% ? Perhaps people who write with their left hand think right-handed penmanship is uncomfortable looking also.
I wonder why women would be 4% more likely to be lefties? Another interesting question.
Hi James. As my wife says "I may be left handed but I am always right"
