As many know I have embrace technology for the most part. I am the only agent in our office with a personal website and IDX. I have my own scanner, camera and so on.
I have been the "Holdout" on NOT getting a smart phone. I have been so turned off by everyone screwing with them all the time. It seems you can't do a 15 minute cup of coffee or a short lunch with another person without interruptions.
I finally bought myself one and set it up to NOT beep every time an email comes in. In a typical day I get many and only a few are worthwhile. I usually check every 2 hours. If its more urgent call or text.
So far business is great and I have NOT become one of "THEM".
