Challenge -- What your sellers should know

I walked into a home and their was a huge dog in the crate. He was barking his head off. Now maybe the owner doesn't realize it but the dog is upset. People are entering it's territory. I would be upset if people came in who I didn't know and I didn't know why.

They are barking or growling. My client is unnerved. So am I. We can't get comfortable in the home with the pet so upset. It is even worse if they are out of the crate but that doesn't happen very often.

As I go through the home I see a pet accident that the owner forgot to clean. Now that means the animal is not well trained and I can expect more problems.

If you have a pet think about your pet's feeling and how it presents to the buyer. Is my pet going to scare the buyer? If so try to take it with you for the showing.

If you can't at least put it in agent remarks.

Actually whenever your house is about to be shown go through the front door as if you are the buyer. Correct problems that you notice.

If the other agent asks for feedback I give it to them.  The good and the bad.  I hope others will do the same for me.
