The Willowalk community is one of the newer communities in Hemet. Willowalk in Hemet near Diamond Valley Lake is one of the nicest communities I've seen in Hemet. This community was developed in 2005 by DR Horton and is very different from any community I have seen in Hemet.
Homeowners Association fees are $185.00 per month and include access to the clubhouse, swimming pool, 4 man-made lakes with walking trails around the lakes, spa and BBQ area with security patrol cars (24 hour).
The 4 lakes inside Willowlk as well as the meandering walking paths, make this community very unique. Residents love the serene atmosphere added by the waterfalls, ducks, and other ascetically pleasing amenities that come with a gated lake community. My new listing in Willowalk has one of the largest lots in the community. Since Willowalk was built around 4 different lakes and also has many walking trails, every possible use of land was utilized by the builder. This left most of the lots being small so finding a lot larger than 6000 sq. ft. in the Willowalk community is very difficult. If you are looking for a newer home that has a larger lot in the Hemet area and specifically the Willowalk community then this home is the one you should look at.
Living near Diamond Valley lake also has it's advantages. The roads near Sanderson and Domenigoni, which border the Willowak community make it easier to get around. And there is a really nice and Hemet Plaza Shopping Center is right across the street and has a variety of restaurants and stores so everything is very conveniently located to the Willowalk community.
Since this community is gated and has guards on the premises at all times, the Willowak community has a feeling of added security. When I was showing homes inside Willowalk, I saw the patrol car actively driving around the community several times. Obviously, since I visited the homes with for sale signs the guard knew I was showing homes and simply gave me a friendly wave. I didn't see a lot of other traffic or people at the lakes but I did make a point to show my home buying clients each of the waterways and waterfalls to see if they were like and all of them were very quiet at the time we visited.
