Needs and Wants V. Inventory!
Many markets are experiencing the same thing as Richard Weisser describes in his Newnan, Georgia market.
The inventory of available, move in ready homes is shrinking with the choices limited.
If one is planning to buy in many markets it will be a matter of evaluating "needs" and "wants" and coming to the realization it is likely going to be "we will make this one work."

Potential home buyers in Coweta County Georgia must first face one stark reality:
There are less than 650 single family houses listed for sale on the MLS. There are also currently 250 house under contract.
This translates to slim pickings in general, and as each additional criteria is applied the number of homes available for sale drops dramatically.
For example, if you want a single level home with a full basement from $200,000-$250,000 there are only three that are available as of the date of this article. If you want one less than 20 years old there are NONE!
In times of low inventory buyers have only two choices:
Wait until a house that meets their needs and wants shows up on the market OR:
Modify their needs and wants and compromise.
Sellers take note! It’s a great time to sell in Coweta County GA!
