Suck it Up!!...And Blog

By
Real Estate Agent with RE/MAX Results 20344949

One of my goals for the New Year is to blog more.  On Active Rain my blogging is by choice. I don't have to do it.  I just thought it would be good to get back into blogging more again.

On my new website www.MNHomeShop.com I feel I have to blog.  I need to build content up on the website, and work on SEO and get a lot of searches and real estate news and market updates posted to that website. That is something I need to do daily at least for the first couple months of the year.

However, I need to admit in my blog that I don't always feel like doing it.  Thus I have to tell myself to "Suck it up and do it!"...I have to do that with my workouts sometimes too.

The good news is like with working out; I feel good when I am done!  I am guessing some bloggers or want to be bloggers feel the same as I do.

The latest contest on activerain has got me doing more. Blogging takes a lot of time especially market updates. I'm doing like five a month. Yes I guess I need to suck it up too.

Hey Chuck,

I'm with you in that sometimes I don't 'feel' like blogging even though I know the benefits of doing it.  So I continue to press on - as in suck it up - and blog.

Best of GREAT success to you in 2014!

Chuck, like you, I need to beef up the blog on my web site, and there is a big question?  More original content, or recycle and tinker with what I do here?

Chuck-For me it takes time to get into a routine of blogging. Once I get consistent it becomes a bit easier, at least until I miss a few days. Then it becomes a challenge to get started again.

I haven't yet decided to suck it up but I'm thinking about it. I have to find a time slot for me to just do it.

I think it's the same for everyone. I like your likeness to a workout, or likeness to trying to get the kids into the bath. Hard to get in, and impossible to get out. Feels great once you are doing it.

Good reminder...there are a lot of times I am really not in the mood to do it but once it's done I am happy and feel a level of accomplishment.  Thanks for the reminder.

For those that do not regurlarly blog, it will never happen. Only a small sample will start fresh with time consuming projects. What are these people doing that don't have time to blog, check their numbers.
