All About Bears!
Where: Quogue Wildlife Refuge

Time: 1:00 p.m.
Ages: For children ages 5 through 12.
Cost: $5 per person.
Tepee Ted from the Wilderness Traveling Museum will present this program on the bears of North America. Kids will learn how bears prepare for their long winter hibernation, and they'll see slides of sleeping bears. They'll also get to touch real bear skins and bones, play a bone game and color a bear necklace that they can take home with them.
The Quogue Wildlife Refuge has been a nature preserve home to various wildlife including some that are permanently injured and require human care to survive. You can visit 365 days a year.
