Compared to the entire Portland Metro area which has a current inventory of 3.2 months (December 2013), West Linn is just below that at 3.1 months. What does this mean? In a neutral real estate market the inventory or absorption rate is 5-6 months. Anything over this is a buyer's market and anything under this is considered a seller's market. According to these statistics West Linn ..as well as the Portland Metro area is considered to be in a seller's market.

Cindy, very thorough, my dear! We're looking at most properties on the lake being $400k+, too! I sold most of the medium priced properties and are looking at much lower-end pricing off-the-lake. I've got two different agents showing my listings today, too--not so common out here!
