#Raleigh Real Estate Market Statistics for December 2013
December was a fantastic month for Real Estate in Raleigh NC. Closed Sales were up +21.4% when compared to the same time in 2012, Pending Sales were up +20.0% and the Average Sales Price was also up +6.5%.
While activitiy was for sales was up the actual inventory of listings was down -7.3% which helped contribute to a swing into a Sellers Market. Remember the supply and demand lessons you learned in high school? The same applies here - less homes for sale + buyers demand = SELLERS market.
