30 Days of Marketing Opportunities - Day 1

I originally started writing this series in a motivational attempt to write 5 days per week for 30 days. Let's just say, I'm trying again. This series of 30 Days of Marketing Opportunities will give you 30 projects or tasks that your Virtual Assistant can handle on your behalf, generating leads that will ultimately generate more income for you!  These are tasks that do not require a lot of high-end skill but, instead, require some time (hence the reason your Virtual Assistant should handle these tasks, not you!) and attention to detail. Join me on the journey and I welcome your feedback!

Day 1 - Generate and Post Short URLs on Your ActiveRain Posts

The short url is a nifty little feature on your ActiveRain posts that can bring even more attention to your posts.  Simply have your Virtual Assistant go through previous posts that you've written and click the button that says "Generate Short URL" and voila!  That's all there is to it (easy-peasy, huh?).

After the short url has been created, your Virtual Assistant can then submit the link, with a catchy, keyword-rich title to Twitter, LinkedIn, Facebook, MySpace and anywhere else you happen to have a social media profile set up.

Short urls drive additional traffic to your posts - traffic that can be tracked so that you can see exactly where your click-throughs are coming from.  This is a handy tool indeed if you want to see which marketing methods are working best for you.
