Going to the Dogs at Phoenix Desert Botanical Gardens!
My little guy Barney got all excited when he heard me talking about Dogs Day at the Desert Botanical Gardens. Now that's the kind of event he could really enjoy and do a lot of prospecting (which is favorite thing to do)!

Dogs' Day in the Garden - Phoenix
Saturday January 26th 8am to 12pm
We're going to start the day off with DOGA. Ahhhh such a relaxing way to do a little conscious community yoga with your furry friends. First come first serve and doga mats will be provided. 3 twenty minute sessions starting at 8:10, 8:40 & 9:10. Sounds like fun, doesnt' it!
Next up - a little Obedience Training! Of course my little Barney is a pretty will mannered guy but he's always up for learning a few new things (haha). Starts at 9:00 and will be held in the Boppart Courtyard. Maybe this time he'll learn that Sit Means Stay. Well ok, there's always hope that he 'gets it' this time!
Treats? Did you say Treats? Well we all know our little buddies love treats! Come and get some great tips and tricks to making home made goodies from Chef Ken Furtado. All good dogs - ok all dogs will leave happy with their own treat. Yum! Starts at 10:00 in the Boppart Courtyard.
Pet Safety in the Desert! It's important for all pet owners to learn how to keep their pets away from snakes, other desert safety tips and lots of fun activities for the dogs. Starts at 11:00 in the Boppart Courtyard. It took us awhile to teach our little Barney to avoid snakes at all costs. We'll see how much he remembers at this class!
