Summer in Phoenix - Proof Positive - January 2014
While a lot of the country is dealing with yet more cold weather and snow, there are lots of signs out in Phoenix that summer has arrived. I know you cold weather folks might think I'm bragging but I'm not, I'm sharing what showed up in my radar - just today. I had no idea it was going to be close to 80 (high for this time of year) and further more I was surprised to be doing a few errands and everywhere I went I found signs of summer.... already.
This fun beach/pool chair caught my eye. And if I didn't already have a bunch of them I would have snapped this beauty up. But alas I left it there for some lucky snow bird that is looking for the perfect chair to go with their new Phoenix winter home!
Next up, of course we need some patio dishes and glasses as for sure you'll be relaxing for days on end this winter around the pool. I was amazed by how many displays there were of colorful dishes and patio wear. It seems a little early but our weather says no - it's perfect timing this year.
Nothing says 'winter in Phoenix' better than enjoying a lovely
dinner and glass of wine in the evening, pool side of course!
Ladies get ready to go shopping for that perfect sun hat for Phoenix winter weather! There are plenty of styles to chose from and you'll be looking stylish at every event. I just had to buy one or two for me too!
Be sure to pick up a few hats for your friends back in snow/cold country. Maybe next year they'll come and visit you at your new Phoenix Winter home!
All you need to do is give them a little incentive to get them out of those cold ice fishing houses on a lake in Minnesota (or wherever) and give some warm weather a try for a change!
And guys don't think I forgot about you. Oh no, I wouldn't do that. No way. I know what most guys like.....well at least the guys I know here in Phoenix. And that's the biggest grill on the planet! Most Phoenicians grill out most days of the year so it really is important to have a BIG GRILL! Why? Because of all your winter visitors that come for dinner at your Phoenix winter home! You absolutely must be ready to dazzle them with your grilling skills, right? Of course!
Thinking about buying a Phoenix winter home? I would be if I were you! Oh wait, I was you many years ago. I grew up in Minnesota and learned quickly on during my college years that I wasn't meant to live in winter cold land all year long. Give me a call and we'll have a blast finding that perfect 'winter' cabin in Phoenix!
