My son was taking photography while he attended Searcy Junior High School. I came across a whole bunch of pictures that he had snapped of kids on campus. I think these are made at the school before it was destroyed by fire. We just finished a blog about the beautiful old school which was used as both a Senior High and then a Junior High. Lots of memories remain in the hearts of Searcy Arkansas folks.
It might be fun to see if you know who they are. I remember several and they were all nice and very sharp kids.
A far cry from the old Searcy Hi days Anita, Ludean, Mary, et al. and I knew. I see a mix of dress, jeans, short shorts, leisure pants,and slacks. In our days, girls would only be seen in skirts and dresses and on some occasions jeans with rolled up cuffs.
