Thanks To Technology Another Stevenson Home Has A 'Too Late' Sign

Thanks to technology I was able to put a Too Late sign on one of my favorite properties.

 Too Late Gardenview

Yesterday was one of those  beautiful Baltimore snow days

with over 7 inches of pretty white fluffy stuff...light enough to sweep with a broom as opposed to heavy wet snow lifting a shovel. Temperatures were in the teens with  minus single digit wind chills. Very cold and very pretty and a day to stay inside.

But that did not stop me from putting 3704 Gardenview Rd in Stevenson under contract. After verbal negotiations, the papers flew back and forth electronically and the right buyers have found their perfect home. Pretty amazing when you think about the multiple copies of the contract we used to make for each transaction.

Everybody wanted a copy. How many? Let's count. There was the buyers and sellers, both agents, both real estate companies, the lender, the title person, the appraiser and sometimes the attorney....that's 10 copies. I was not the only one who wanted one with wet signatures.

Ten copies of multiple pages. Not as many pages as our present contracts but we did that to present each offer...oh my..

how many trees did we sacrifice back then?
