Using Various Postcard Recipe Cards Can Help All Year With Marketing

Real Estate Agent with Piedmont Real Estate 0225202286

Today marks the end of my latest postcard mailing and handout campaign using recipe cards in Richmond Virginia.  Perhaps, gaining a new client may not happen immediately, but it can happen eventually or even when we may least expect it!

Here are five advantages of using a recipe card for postcard marketing:

1)  It's an item of value that people often may treasure and keep easily

     available in their homes.

2)  It's a way for a newer agents to become more recognizable in

a particular area and more memorable to people from an agent's

     established contact list.

3)  Postcards are relatively inexpensive, and there's nothing to open for

     the receiver.

4)  Recipe postcards have overall wide appeal, because a lot people

enjoy cooking or baking at home.

5)  Some people will talk about these recipe cards to their friends, and

that eventually could lead to home buyers or sellers for that agent.

Remember that recipe cards simply are a tool for one's marketing tool box.  Using those cards are a good start, and also using several other techniques like calling on expired listings and door knocking in combination with the cards can help make a successful marketing strategy!

I have thought about sending receipe postcards for several years now and haven't ordered any yet, have you had success with generating new clients from them?

Hello KimLynn.  Thanks for your response to this older blog post.  The recipe cards actually do help people remember you.  However, if I had to do it all over again, I probably would invest in cards that relate more directly to preparation for selling a home, or home improvement.  I've yet to get any business from those recipe cards, so I'll probably focus on more marketing directly associated with homes themselves for my next purchase of marketing postcards!
