Can’t get enough chocolate? The Glendale Chocolate Affaire is coming to Historic Downtown Glendale Arizona again on February 7 – 9, 2014. Join us for this great free family event on Friday from 5 to 10 p.m., Saturday 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. and Sunday from Noon to 5 p.m. in Murphy Park at 58th Avenue and Glendale Avenue.
This award winning festival celebrates chocolate, the arts and romance. Come out and create confections such as chocolate-covered strawberries, cheesecake, bananas, nuts, cherries and even chocolate covered kettle corn. There will also be fried Twinkies and Snickers dipped in chocolate. Children will enjoy fun activities such as hand-on crafts, face painting, rock climbing and carnival rides.
Visit with romance novelists; attend free writing workshops, local arts and crafts. Visit Cerreta’s candy factory for a tour and get a look at the behind the scenes action.
Being from Glendale, this is one of the events that I never miss during the year. Bring your sweetheart, family and friends to this wonderful event. It is worth your time!
