The End of Atlanta GA Short Sales?

Have we seen the End of Atlanta GA Short Sales?

Now that both the national and local economy is enjoying a modest but encouraging rally from the devastating recession, many observers are left wondering... will residential real estate short sales in the Atlanta GA market cease?

Indications are that short sales will continue to be a necessary, viable, and sometimes best answer for many Atlanta GA families.

While many in the Atlanta real estate market have regained some of the equity lost during the downturn, more than half of Georgians with a mortgage remained in negative equity situations as we entered 2014. Those who find they must sell now but cannot bring money to the table, will still find a graceful exit strategy from an awkward situation in the  short sale.

Atlanta GA short sale information

No one wants to see another Georgian lose their home. For most families, a home is not only a significant financial investment but also a source of pride. The loss of a home can be both financially and personally devastating. And although short sales are seldom easy or stress-free, they definitely can be worth the effort for some sellers.

But while, many people have heard the good news of the short sale, far fewer know what it takes to successfully close one. That's where expert help comes in.

Is short sale an option for you?  Then make sure that you get the desired result. Good post, Elva.  A a short sale specialist, it is always a good idea to inform our clients about the option of short sales.

Ralph -- even after several years of a distressed market, it still amazes me how many people go to foreclosure without looking into a short sale.

Wayne, that is good news if it means fewer sellers are underwater in San Antonio.
