Free press is always a good thing.  Hopefully, you read Sunday's Chicago Tribune article in the Business Section.  The article was entitled "Season of Optimism Kicks Off in Real Estate"....one of my clients, a builder in Arlington Heights, Illinois built a spec home.  It was completed in 2005, but the first brokerage couldn't get it sold.  He was a referral to me and  I suggested that we call in a company to stage the home and make it more appealing for perspective buyers.  It's amazing...how it shows now...just seeing what some furniture, pictures on the walls, plants, and accessories can do for new construction!   My client was extremely happy with the final product and I'm re-listing this home next week!  Don't be shy about suggesting things that will cost the client more money if it makes the home sell quicker!!  Sometimes you have to spend money to make money!
