In reviewing this market data the real estate market in Branford has remained fairly stable over the past year and sales prices are starting to increase. Over the past few months with the exception of November 2013 we are seeing a trend of listing price increases on home prices in Branford and would expect this to continue into the new year.

If you are considering buying a home you can still find deals on a house in Branford but having a good real estate agent who understands the market is a must. Interest rates are still low so don't wait too long on the sidelines; many listings when priced correctly are starting to sell within a few days of hitting the market.

As you can see from the graph above listings are not exactly selling for asking price. To make sure you don't overpay for your home, you'll want to have an agent that does a thorough market analysis of the Branford home on which you are making an offer. The chart above represents an overall broad spectrum of the Branford real estate market.

If you're considering buying or selling it's important to understand that pricing trends can vary from neighborhood to neighborhood.

The data for the Branford Homes For Sale and sold market report for December 2013 is based on statistics provided from the CTMLS (private sales are not included nor are mobile homes).
