Eric, This is good stuff. I will see how I can ramp up my business to a new level. But as you said, I may get to busy to keep it up.
Good morning Eric. I consider myself a referral machine. My total outgoing referral goal for 2013 was 720 and exceed my goal.
Great job with your post!
Hi Rebecca, Thanks for stopping by and leaving a comment. Glad you liked the post.
Debbie, the trick is to automate as much as you can, but still make the communication feel very personal and relevant. Thanks for your feedback.

Eric, there was just too much for me to comprehend today! I need to come back and read the last 2 sections so I can try to use the method you suggest.
Hi Eric, great information for more referrals business. Referral is one of the best way to generate new leads and produce income.
Eric - Thank you for sharing an excellent blog about a step by step guide to more referrals.
I need to bookmark this post and read it again. It has been slow so far this year.
Glad you liked it Gita! I don't know if you are staying in contact with all your contacts, but if you have a large enough database, there is a good chance you can get something going with just 1 personal email send out to your list. It is important to make it personal. I did it for one of my clients and it worked out very well for her.
This is a great article, thank you! This is the plan I am going to follow. I feel that referral clients are most enjoyable to work with, since you already have that common bond and loyalty.
Hi Christina, I agree referrals are always the beat cold leads any day of the week. Glad you found the guide helpful.
Hi Michele, I would love to hear about your results. Thanks for posting
Clear path to success, and you're so right - make it personal, otherwise if feels like spam. Who wants to come across like a spammer? So many folks still claim the "33 rule." Personally, I think it's too much.
Hi Debb! I haven't heard of the 33 rule, but a quick experience to show the value of short personal email. I ran a case study with a seasoned Realtor she had 1090 contacts in her MLS that she hadn't really done much of anything with. Some were past clients some were just contacts she came across over the years. We sent out a short personal email with a link her blog post. less than 1% unsubscribed and only 9 marked it as spam. That's on a cold list!
She had several calls and nice conversations and one turned into a $10,000 commission. Not bad, huh? Thanks for commenting Debb.
Eric, These are great tips on building and increasing our sphere. As you point out, ours is a relationship focused business and keeping that thought in the forefront of our thinking needs to be a priority. Thank you for sharing!
