Vision Board Personal And Business Goals For 2014

I've had a vision board of sorts for several years now.  Not the kind of vision board that most of us will be doing such as cutting out photos and making a collage of what we want to accomplish, but rather making use of any surface I might walk by daily, taking a photo and taping it to the side of my filing cabinet, on a mirror at home or in my car.  I can say without reservation that keeping those things important to me...things that I want to accomplish top of mind and always in view does make a difference and increas the probability of success and achievement.  The following group of photos and clippings are taped to the side of my filing cabinet at work, so I see them every day.  They represent things I want to accomplish in 2014.

The photos of the sailplanes (gliders) remind me of how much I loved to fly and that I need to make time to get back in the air.  So, my goal is to get re-certified this year and get back in the air!  The photos with the two motorcycles at the top and bottom also serve to remind me of my passion for riding.  It has been my escape for years when business and life get in the way of a clear head.  The world of real estate has a way of taking over and pushing things that are important in your life aside and my plan is to make more alone time on two wheels.  The bike on the right in the top photo belongs to one of my best friends back in Chicago, Gary, I miss the Sunday rides we used to take out in the country.  We really didn't have a plan or a route mapped out, we just wanted to get away and decompress.  We both hope to ride around Lake Michigan one of these summers or fall.

Back to the more mundane, the "Video" clip is to remind me that I want to incorporate video into my blogging and marketing.  I know how important it is and will get started this year.  The "up" blue arrow is indicates the direction I want for my personal production this year.  Even though 2013 was a great year, there are areas of my business that I want to improve on and increase production as a result.

Now to the little guy holding a "?" in his hand.  As it says at the bottom..."I know...That's all that matters".  Sorry guys...I'm really not a completely open book!  However, good luck with your vision boards and I wish you success with your expectations of 2014!
