There's a doggy in the window.

January in Minnesota has been cold, miserable and cold.

School has been out at least four days... once ordered by the Governor... and everyone is feeling the pain of being stuck inside.

My children are no exception. The winter blues and doldrums seem to be running rampant. Part of it may be the lack of consistancy in schedule and some of it might just be boredom... but it's here.

Due to the circumstances I had one child with me at the office today. It took about two minutes for his puppy to find his place at the window... can't say I blame him. This is exactly how my child felt today. Blue and anxious.

Some days are like that. It's too cold to do anything, and being stuck inside is no fun.

We've seen it in the marketplace. Showings are slow, listings are slow, homes are moving a bit slow. EVERYONE seems to be waiting with baited breath for decent weather to roll in.

In the next few weeks as we thaw out in the great north expanse (otherwise known as Minnesota) I expect that we will see great housing movement. Folks will be ready to get out looking and having being stuck inside for so long they will know exactly what they are looking for.

It will only be a matter of time and things will be perking up.

If you've been thinking about buying or selling please give me a call, shoot me a text, or drop me an email. I would love to chat with you about it.
