Hey, Where you goin'?

I drove past an apartment complex this week. A family of four was out in the four foot boulevard building a snowman. This fun was happening at the expense of a lot of traffic on a busy road. I'm grateful that they found FUN where they were at, but everything in me wanted them to have their own space.

Somehow it just didn't seem right that Mr. Snowman was being built in such a busy spot. Maybe they wanted him to wave at the traffice... maybe they didn't have anywhere else to build him.

For whatever the reason I am happy that they took the time, that he was built, and that the family was able to spend time together.

Every time I see a snowman decorating a yard I know that there was joy in the building. It brings a smile to my face.

But, I also hope that these families have the tools to buy their own privacy if it's what they are looking for. Owning a home is a 'big deal' even though many do.
