Cumberland Plateau-For Survivalists
Here in eastern Tennessee-the Cumberland Plateau, where survivalists are coming to. Joel Skousen
talks about the Plateau on his website and the many books he has written. We have everything that
fits what preppers need. Elevation (no flood zone) ,moderate tempertures, many sources of water,
wide open spaces and many skilled craftsmen that could barter their services.
Wilder Mountain has both on and off grid parcels and many survivalists have already brought their
containers and started building their homes. There are 10 families full time on the mountain but will
soon be more for there is construction ongoing.
The Plateau is suitable for it is centrally located for access to other states within a days drive.
Storms tend to go around the Plateau ,skirting either north or south so bad weather is not a
concern. Lots of wide open spaces that are easy to fence and have livestock, gardens and ponds.
I have had so many preppers come here to look for property and they are pleasantly surprised
how inexpensive land is here.
