I am going to wait for a good time to list...

Real Estate Agent with Atlanta Communities 303302

I am going to wait. This short phrase can cause all sorts of problems. Like, I am going to wait to go to the dentist. I am going to wait to see if it really does snow. I am going to wait to list my home for when the market is better. Let's focus on this last phrase.

Many a real estate agent will be able to tell you that spring and summer are great times to sell because more homes sell then. But just because more homes sell during this season, is it really better for you as a seller? I don't think so and here is why.

During the colder months inventory of homes for sale in our market tends to decline. During the warmer months it tends to increase, greatly. When would you like to try to sell your home, when you have lots of competition or not so much? Buyers are looking all through the year, not just in the spring and summer.

So when is the best time to sell your home? As soon as you have your home ready. Now is a great time because you will beat much of the competition to the punch. We will not be able to say that in 30 days from now. Call me today to start the process of getting your home sold.

Hello Peter, I have had a great January and December selling all my listings, inventory is low in our area so we are seeing lots of showings and multi offers coming in.

Less competition is always a good thing. When you're ready to sell, that's the time.

Peter,  Inventory is so low right now.  The sellers that do list now have little competition.  Seems like now would be a great time to jump in the pool.
