When you are looking for areas where home buyers have the most to spend on housing, Maryland is at the top of the list. According to a CNN report, Maryland has the highest number of millionaires.

Before you click on this link, write down your list of 10 states that have the highest number of millionaires as relates to the number of households. Then, compare your list with the CNN report. A hint: California is number 10.

I would suspect that millionaires would live where state tax laws are friendly.  OR, if they are not, the weather is great!

Good morning Roy. The only state that was a surprise for me was Alaska. Not sure why, but that was not one of the states I would have thought would be in the top ten.
