Chinese New Year in Nashville TN 2014
The Chinese New Year begins Friday January 31, 2014. It's the year of the Horse. In the Chinese calender, each year is associated with an animal. There are 12 different animals and this year it's the Horse.
The Chinese believe that Horse years are years of Good Luck.
They also believe that the same characteristics of the animal in whose year your are born are what you will have. For example, if you were born in the year of the Ox, you would be hard working. You'd be aggressive, if you were born in the year of the Tiger.
