Omao Homesteads in a popular area because it is very close to Koloa town and Poipu Beach but with a micro climate similar to Kalaheo or Wailua Homesteads. The area is blessed with evening rain keeping the landscaping and surrounding vegetation green and lush. There is a county park located on Omao Road for the use of the residents.
