Faith in people

By
Real Estate Agent with Atlanta Communities 303302

This week has been a wild one for the people of Atlanta. Many spent hours in their cars Tuesday and Wednesday, often running out of gas and being forced to hit the road miles from home. It was during this time that the people of Atlanta really shined!

Many of the CVS stores, Publix and Kroger Stores, and just regular people opened their doors to strangers lost in the weather. They offered a warm place to stay and food to eat. Many folks went out into the mess offering help to stranded motorists. Either a push to get them going or a sandwich to help them survive.

The national news is full of the bad things but strangely silent on all the good things that have happened. Way to go regular folks of Atlanta. You really showed what you were made of this week.

Typical of the media to only report the bad news.  Thanks for letting us know about all of the kind people in Atlanta.  I'll listen to your "news" any time Peter.

The news is about ratings and Roger said it well they only like to report bad news as it typically is more sensational. Atlanta got the opportunity to shiw their true colors and they are beautiful.

Good things don't usually rate as "news", but they should.  Nice shout out for Atlanta's goodness.

Hello Peter,

What a week that y'all have had...our cities just are not made for these bizarre storms.  Hopefully all will be back to normal for you very soon!

What a wonderful story Peter and yes, there is always a lot of bad news to report but it would be nice to see this all over the media.  Well done Atlanta.
