Normally, I wouldn't take to the internet with my grievances and I've been very pleased with Top Producer in the past. In fact, I'm still a subscriber to it's CRM program and Market Snapshot. It pains me to have to write this blog post, but I'm frankly tired of real estate agents continually having to concede with consistently ending up with the short end of the stick.
On January 22, 2014, I attempted (for four arduous hours) to create a postcard campaign through Top Producer for one of my farm areas. I opted to use the Live Post postcards so that they would be printed and mailed for me and I wouldn't have to worry about handling it myself. Great idea!!! Well, as it turns out...what should be a very simple task, creating postcards, turned out to be a nightmare. It was extremely confusing and difficult and I ended up having to contact Top Producer to have someone walk me through the entire process. Well, after we finished, I waited for the proofs to be delivered because I was EXTREMELY worried about the finished product. The next day, when I viewed the proofs, I saw that my postcards were a mess!!! I rejected all 155 and opted to use one of the post card campaigns with The Personal Marketing Company (EXTREMELY HAPPY....but that's another blogpost).
I attempted to contact Post Nexus to have the deposit that's required at account setup refunded back to my card.....here's where the issues began. After many unanswered vm messages and emails, I finally spoke with someone on January 24th who advised that their Accountant would be in over the weekend and would process my refund over the weekend. That wasn't the case. On Wednesday of this week, I began attempting to call and email....no response to either calls or emails. Finally, I received this email this morning (which, in fact, prompted this blogpost).
I was shocked at the tone of this "professional" response to a Customer Service related issue, which could have easily been avoided had someone bothered to return my phone call to provide an update with an entire week's time. Something tells me that I should be very worried about getting my money back...hmmmmm.
