My Vision Board is Almost Complete
In January's Cloudburst of You, one of the items on the list was to create a Vision Board. It made me laugh because I had an incomplete Vision Board on the floor behind my door in my office.
The main reason I had failed to complete it was that I had run out of color ink and couldn't print the pictures I wanted.
A vision board is also called a dream board. It's a collage of pictures of all the things you would have, or do, if you could have, or do, anything you wanted.
Mine covers most parts of my life. Health, Church, Volunteering, Home and just some dreams.
As my husband and I age. I worry about long term health care. We don't have children, nieces or nephews. We wouldn't depend on them even if we did. But these people often help you determine when it's time for more assistance in your aging.
Our kitchen and bath could use some updating but more than that, we have everything we need.
In the last couple of years, I've chosen to be content with what I have. And I have so much. You don't stop dreaming, you just put your priorities on other things. Stuff becomes less important.
The Lexus in the middle screams that I'm lying but the truth is it represents achieving a certain volume in my other business. It's not that I want or need it.
I still have some white space to fill in. The most important parts are done.
