My Vision Board is Almost Complete

In January's Cloudburst of You, one of the items on the list was to create a Vision Board. It made me laugh because I had an incomplete Vision Board on the floor behind my door in my office.

The main reason I had failed to complete it was that I had run out of color ink and couldn't print the pictures I wanted.

A vision board is also called a dream board. It's a collage of Vision Boardpictures of all the things you would have, or do, if you could have, or do, anything you wanted.

Mine covers most parts of my life. Health, Church, Volunteering, Home and just some dreams.

As my husband and I age. I worry about long term health care. We don't have children, nieces or nephews. We wouldn't depend on them even if we did. But these people often help you determine when it's time for more assistance in your aging.

Our kitchen and bath could use some updating but more than that, we have everything we need.

In the last couple of years, I've chosen to be content with what I have. And I have so much. You don't stop dreaming, you just put your priorities on other things. Stuff becomes less important.

The Lexus in the middle screams that I'm lying but the truth is it represents achieving a certain volume in my other business. It's not that I want or need it.

I still have some white space to fill in. The most important parts are done.

How cool is this Connie! Love it! My Vision Board is actually on an Excel Spread sheet, and when all of the columns have a ZERO balance, I will be really happy. That's my vision for now, then the other truly visionable (is that even a word?) will have a place.

Happy New Year my friend! I see a trip to your neck of the woods this spring.

Hi Connie~ My vision board is more about what I want to do vs. what I want to have. I'm trying to minimize, that's what makes me happiest!

You and I have the long term health planning concerns in common.  With no kids and no nieces or nephews, I have already started socking away money for the bleakest retirement years.

Connie, your vision board is wonderful.  Vision boards really work because they engage the Universe and the Law of Attraction.  Keep up the good work and you will soon fill in all the white spaces.

Connie: I'd never even heard of Vision Boards, but having read on AR how everone uses them, I'll try it. Mine would be more about what I USED to do that I don't do anymore, mostly activities. When did I give up skiing, for example? Would like to do that again. Not with reckless abandon as in the past, but just go and enjoy.

Good morning, Connie. It is great that you have a vision board. As you well know, mine is always in state of flux. I use my vision board as my goals setting board as well. This way, I can see at a glance where I am at a given point.

Hello Connie,

Great work with the vision board - you know you weren't the only one with it on the floor behind the door! (  )

Connie - It looks pretty good to me... I don't remember any rules against white space.  Best wishes for that Lexus in 2014

Thom - We all have different visions for ourselves. Let me know when you figure out when you're coming this way.

Donna - Mine is both.

Chris Ann - it's a huge concern. My husband is 18 years older than me and I see it coming sooner than later.

Brenda - I was hoping it was my next car but I couldn't wait and had to get a car in December. Got a Honda since that was in my budget.

Ralph - I think you're right.

Hella - If I did what I used to do there wouldn't be enough space to get it all in! LOL

Michael - I have my goals in another place. This is more as if I had won the lottery, what would i do.

Maybe that should be a contest for March..."How Many Have Their Vision Boards Posted, and How Many Do Not?"

Connie, it's looking good!  Personally, I think that a vision board is a work  in progress, it should change as you change.

Gita - One can only how it helps.

Lisa - Hmmm. Might be a good idea!

Silvia - I would tend to agree. I will continue to add to it as I go along.
