FAQ - What The Best Way To Search For Properties?

I often get this question from buyers who are looking at resales and sometimes new construction (though most buyers looking to purchase new construction has an idea of the subdivision they want to live in).  These buyers have tried the major websites i.e. Trulia, Zillow, Realtor.com, and are a little frustrated with the results.

My answer is

  1. Tell me what you are looking for in your home.  Location, bedrooms, bathrooms, ranch style, two story, basement, etc.  Once  I gather these details, I can set up a custom search to feed you listings each day.  And I know that the information is absolutley fresh.
  2. If you want to operate more independently, I suggest you register at my website and create your own search criteria.  (That's www.buysellmetroatlproperties.com)  As you find listings, send me an email or text with the MLS number and I will complete the research on the property prior to setting up a showing.

This is a good way to start looking for property and hopefully be as efficient as possible.

Good advice for sure. Everyone starts online and having a good place to do that is key.
