It used to be that Super Bowl Sunday bgan about 2 hours before the game began. Now it is like a national holiday. It starts all day long. The streets are empty except for the bars, restaurants, and grocery stores. I tis about the food, drinking, and parties.
Many years ago my husband and I quit going to parties as we really like to watch the game. We will go to a party and then leave when the game starts.
I love the game. I love having another holiday. I wish there was the SuperBowl Monday off too to recover from the game. Is Super Bowl Monday our next new holiday?
