As many of you know, I have Yorkies, but I always like seeing what dog breeds are most popular each year. Here is the 2014 list of the top 10 most popular dog breeds in America.
1.) The Labrador Retriever - This dog has been in the top 10 for as
long as I can remember!
2.) The German Shepard Dog - One of my personal favorites! I have
always loved the regal stature of this breed
3.) The Golden Retriever - In my opinion one of the sweetest and 
most loving dog breeds available.
4.) The Beagle - Made famous by...SNOOPY! 
5.) The Bulldog - Known to be easy going in nature 
6.) The Yorkshire Terrier - Yeah! Of course I am very biased on
this breed...they are wonderful!
7.) The Boxer - I know many people who love and have boxers!
8.) The Poodle - This breed comes in a standard size as well and 
is a in the larger size is a known as a Russian hunting dog.
9.) The Rottweiler - This breed is also a well known working dog 
along with the German Shepard Dog.
10.) The Dachshund - I never thought much of Dachshunds, but 
one of my dogs, Molly, is a Yorkie-Dachshund mix...I called her my
"Dorkie". Dachshund is German for Badger Hound. They have the most beautiful, big, brown, expressive eyes!
