In January 2014, Duxbury's real estate market was much more active than the previous January, with 16 closed transactions compared to five in January 2013.
Prices paid were in line with the 2013 averages. So while prices don't seem to be rising much, properly prepared, properly priced homes are attracting willing and able buyers. There are few properties for sale, and there are prepared buyers in the market, pre-approvals in hand, looking for the right property when it hits the market.
