I am not someone who loves change. There is a method to the madness of home inspections that involves routine and repetition. That being said, I recently agreed to switch reporting platforms due to the technology capabilities of this new program. It's true the bells and whistles are there, and there is something to be said for the efficiency for me and my office as well as the readibility ease for clients. BUT still, I do not like change.
I read in a recent article that it's easy to get caught up in the latest technological gadgetry and forget what truly matters. However, I also read where refusing to play around with different technology every once and a while means certain disaster.
So far, my clients are happy with the results of this new program. I was always complimented before. It was just time-consuming and less efficient for the company as a whole. I am sure I will be happy with this new technology soon. It's all a matter of growth and acceptance. AND like I said before, my clients are pleased with the finished product. So what more could I ask for?
