The Legends is a newer, golf course, amenity filled neighborhood located off Cedar Lane Road within the municipality of Middletown, DE. The Legends is built around Frog Hollow Golf Club, a links style, 18 hole championship golf course that opened in 2000.
The neighborhood features three unique sections. The Legends section features 377 detached single family homes made up of mostly two story colonials ranging from 2,100 to 4,000 square feet with four or five bedrooms, most with two or three car garages and full basements. Premium lots back up directly to golf course. The Legends section was built by Pulte, Handler and Double S.
The Villas of Augusta section features 92 two and three story townhomes ranging 1,650 to 2,500 square feet with most having three bedrooms and two and half baths, nearly all townhomes have a one car garage. Most of the three story townhomes were built by Pulte with small section built by Robino, the two story stucco townhomes were built by Anderson Homes.
The Congressional Village section features 96 condos located in three story buildings that all have elevators. The condos feature two floorplans, the first with 1,050 square feet with two bedrooms and two full baths and the larger units with 1,475 square feet with three bedrooms and two full baths. Congressional Village was built by Robino.
The Frog Hollow Golf Club features a full service pub and restaraunt, full service banquet facility, pro shop with teaching professional staff. Natural grass driving range with bent grass putting green and practice bunker. Plus a large, olympic size swimming pool, tennis court and playground.
