Maybe Trader Joe's will reconsider as the market gets stronger! I think it speaks a lot for the community that this was the site of the first TJ in the metro!
Sharlene. Thanks. The projection was for about 400 new homes in Lovettsville, enough for the numbers for Trader Joe's. When the market crashed, they pulled out and so did the professional offices that were planned.
However, we have a lovely park area in the center of town where the businesses were planned.
Sharlene. Not any more. There was a grocery store in Brunswick up until the end of last year.
Now the closest one in Purcellville, 14 miles away. Or, Leesburg, 15 miles away.
All we have is a 7-11.

We were supposed to get a Trader Joe's in 2005 when the New Town Center was built.
Sadly, they pulled out when the real estate market crashed.
