Nature Coast Real Estate School is offering the Weekend Exam Prep Course on March 15-16, Saturday and Sunday from 8-5. The course will be offered at 78 Commercial Way, at the corner of US 19 and County Line Rd at the Pasco/Hernando County line. This is a schedule change for the March class and the website has been updated to reflect the new dates.
Taking the Exam Prep course the weekend before your test is scheduled is a great way to maximize your chances of passing your Real Estate Sales Associate or Broker state licensing exam, especially if you took the licensing course online. It is a fast paced, intense course and it is very important to be prepared. We use the Dearborn FLORIDA REAL ESTATE EXAM MANUAL FOR SALES ASSOCIATES AND BROKERS, and it is important to be familiar with the content before the course.
The manual has two parts: the first half of the book has the key points from each chapter of the Dearborn Real Estate Course manual. The second half has 650 sample questions with the answers to each question in the very back of the book. A great study tip is to mark the correct answer to each question and study the question and only the correct answer. This way the association between the questions and the correct answer will be strengthened in your mind.
If you took your Sales Associate or Broker Course through Nature Coast Real Estate School, this course will be a refresher. If you took the course elsewhere or online, be prepared to learn new information.
This course will boost your confidence when you take the state licensing test and will refresh your memory with some of the information you may have forgotten.
There is discussion on test taking tips, techniques to overcome anxiety, and plenty of discussion on content. Check out my blog post on Passing Your State License Exam.
The Florida Department of Business and Professional Regulation has a Candidate Information Booklet for Sales Associate and Broker Candidates that is filled with information needed to navigate the licensing and testing process, including a outline of the weight of each chapter's content and the weight it will carry on the state test.
